From Olympic Walls to Local Markets: Art By Audie's Spring 2025 Journey
There's something magical about creating art that celebrates strength, community, and meaningful moments. As an artist who transitioned from the wrestling mat to the canvas, I'm thrilled to share some recent highlights that perfectly embody this journey.
Olympic Walls & Female Athlete Artistry
I'm beyond honored to announce that my art now graces the walls of Olympic medalist and World Wrestling Champion Adeline Gray's home. As someone who grew up admiring her achievements, it was a full-circle moment to create a special piece capturing her wedding day at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre. This milestone marks the beginning of my mission to become THE artist for female athletes – creating beautiful pieces that celebrate the harmony between strength and grace.
Making a Difference: Charlotte's Cure Dinner
Art has the power to contribute to meaningful causes, and I was privileged to create a special piece for the Charlotte's Cure dinner, which raised an impressive $100,000 for Ataxia-telangiectasia research. The painting, featuring a young girl watching the rodeo parade, came to life in two stages – with final touches added during the actual Oakdale Rodeo Parade. Seeing this piece find its forever home while supporting such an important cause was truly rewarding.
Capturing Oakdale’s Community Spirit: At the Oakdale Morning Market
On May 3rd, I had the pleasure of serving as the artist-in-residence at the Oakdale Morning Market. During my two-hour session, I focused on capturing the essence of the market through portraits of its visionary founders. This ongoing piece is my tribute to these dedicated women who have created a vibrant community hub that benefits all of Oakdale.
Rustic Romance: The Bird Ranch
In a recent styled shoot at the Bird Ranch at San Luis Creek, I had the opportunity to create art in a uniquely beautiful setting. Working inside a barn with a real couple, I created a piece that will soon become part of the venue's permanent collection, capturing the rustic charm and romantic atmosphere that makes this location so special.
Looking Ahead These recent projects reflect my commitment to creating art that celebrates strength, supports community, and captures meaningful moments. As Art By Audie continues to grow, I'm excited to further explore the intersection of athletic spirit and artistic expression, creating pretty things for strong women and meaningful pieces for our community.
